Description

This banana bread is moist and delicious with ripe bananas, perfect for breakfast or a snack!


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth, then stir in melted butter.
  3. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar to the banana mixture, mixing until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  6. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack; slice when completely cooled.
