Description
This delicious garlic butter steak and potatoes recipe is a perfect weeknight meal.
Ingredients

- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients by washing and halving the baby potatoes, and mincing the garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak pieces until browned on all sides (about 3-4 minutes per side). Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add halved baby potatoes with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown (around 10 minutes), stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to low, add butter and minced garlic to the skillet with potatoes. Stir until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
- Return the steak to the skillet, tossing everything together until coated in garlic butter sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Be sure to adjust the amount of salt and pepper to your personal preference.
- You can use other cuts of steak if desired.
