Description

A delicious creamy dip made with sour cream and fresh herbs, perfect for serving with chips or vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs of choice (chives, parsley, dill, etc.)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (more or less to taste)

Instructions

  1. Add 1 cup full-fat sour cream to a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs, and ¼ teaspoon salt to the bowl.
  3. Use a spoon or small whisk to stir everything together until the herbs and seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the 1 cup sour cream.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the dip to an airtight container.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (overnight is even better) to allow the flavors to develop.
  6. Before serving, taste the dip and adjust the seasoning if needed. Add more salt from the ¼ teaspoon measurement if it needs it, or add extra herbs for more punch.
  7. Serve cold with your choice of chips, fresh vegetables, chicken wings, or use as a spread.
