Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup full-fat sour cream
- 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs of choice (chives, parsley, dill, etc.)
- ¼ teaspoon salt (more or less to taste)
Instructions
- Add 1 cup full-fat sour cream to a medium mixing bowl.
- Add 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs, and ¼ teaspoon salt to the bowl.
- Use a spoon or small whisk to stir everything together until the herbs and seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the 1 cup sour cream.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the dip to an airtight container.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (overnight is even better) to allow the flavors to develop.
- Before serving, taste the dip and adjust the seasoning if needed. Add more salt from the ¼ teaspoon measurement if it needs it, or add extra herbs for more punch.
- Serve cold with your choice of chips, fresh vegetables, chicken wings, or use as a spread.
Notes
- For best flavor, let the dip chill overnight.
- Feel free to experiment with different herbs for unique flavor profiles.
