- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- 2 cans chili (with or without beans, depending on preference)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Spread the frozen tater tots evenly across the bottom of a large baking dish. No need to defrost, just pour them right from the freezer.
- Pour your cans of chili evenly over the tater tots. Spread it out so every tot is covered in the rich, savory chili.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the chili.
- Bake the casserole for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the tater tots are crispy and golden.
- Once out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then serve with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of chopped green onions for garnish.
