Description

A delicious and healthy salad featuring ground beef and fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 cups iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp relish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine chopped lettuce and halved cherry tomatoes.
  3. Add shredded cheddar cheese and sliced pickles to the veggie mix.
  4. Whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, and relish in a small bowl until smooth.
  5. Combine cooked beef with the salad mixture and drizzle with special sauce. Toss gently until coated.
  6. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
