Description
A delicious croissant filled with sliced beef ham and cheese, perfect for a quick meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package croissant dough
- 4 slices sliced beef ham
- 4 slices Swiss cheese or cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons mustard (Dijon, yellow mustard, or honey mustard)
- 1 egg (or a mixture of almond milk and a splash of vinegar for a vegan option)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) to ensure the croissants cook evenly.
- Roll out your croissant dough on a clean, floured surface. If using store-bought, simply unroll it and separate the triangles.
- Place a slice of beef ham on the wide end of each triangle, followed by a slice of cheese. Add a thin layer of mustard if you’re using it.
- Starting from the wide end, carefully roll up the dough towards the tip to form a croissant shape. Make sure to tuck in the ends to prevent the filling from spilling out during cooking.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the egg (or non-dairy alternative) and brush the mixture over each croissant for that golden finish.
- Place the croissants in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not touching. Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, or until they’re golden brown and crispy.
- Once done, carefully remove the croissants from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a vegan option, use almond milk and vinegar for the egg wash.
- Experiment with different types of cheese or mustard for varied flavors.
