Description
Refreshing tequila lime popsicles perfect for summer!
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 oz tequila
- 1 oz orange liqueur
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1½ cups limeade
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Add ingredients to a blender. Combine the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, limeade, sugar, and coconut milk with the salt in a high-powered blender.
- Pulse the mixture for 15–30 seconds, or until everything is well blended and smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Carefully pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving about ¼ inch at the top to allow for expansion as they freeze.
- Place the popsicle sticks into each mold. If your mold doesn’t support sticks upright, let the mixture freeze for about an hour before inserting.
- Transfer the molds to the freezer and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight, until fully solid.
- To release the popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds, then gently pull them out.
Notes
- These popsicles can be adjusted for sweetness based on personal preference and the sweetness of limeade used.
- Experiment with different fruits or flavors by adding them to the mixture before blending.
